Press Release - January 2011 Meeting

The Tewksbury Republican Town Committee during the January 10, 2011 open meeting , held at the US Bunting Club, nominated officers for the February 2011 general meeting voting session.

Don Ordway – was nominated for Chairman

Bob Homeyer – was nominated for Vice Chairman

Carolyn Donovan – was nominated for Treasurer

Mellissa Gleaton – was nominated for Secretary

Paul Adams – The newly elected State Representative presented on the agendas currently under review on Beacon Hill. Paul advised the group on issues surrounding any number of important topics from State Health Care initiatives to Casino Gambling. His discussion on “freshman rep” items was quite interesting.

Doug Sears – Tewksbury Town Selectman presented on the agendas currently under review for the Town of Tewksbury. Doug advised the group on the candidates currently running for Town Offices as well as issues surrounding the upcoming Town Charter challenges and budget issues.

Tom Weaver (who ran for US Congress in the November 2010 election) will be conducting a 3 part series on the US Constitution for the first hour of the April, May, & June 2011 meetings of the Tewksbury Republican Town Committee. All are welcome.
